Always tasty! I particularly enjoy the pimento grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of hot tomato basil soup. The home cooking style traditional Texan fare is always as safe bet. But don't be afraid to go with a house special l, fish, or a prime cut of meat. Whatever you may choose, you will eat well and do so affordably. Enjoy your great meal as much as I do is my wish for you.

Food ok. Service ok

We went and the price was to much. My wife didn't like the chicken salad sandwich but I liked the hamburger. The best part was the French fries. We will not go back.

Went on a slow day and the service was beyond expectations. Our waitress provided toys for our toddler to play with and was very attentive without being over baring. The food was prepared faster than we expected and was more than enough to fill us up. Not only was this the best chicken fried steak ive had in the past 10 years but the whole experience has made my wife and i fans.

Was there with a small group. They had a separate room for us, really nice. Food was excellent and prices are good. They put out a really great burger. Salads looked really good as well. Staff was very nice, although service was a bit on the slow side.

Great home cooking! The menu has all your home favorites and a little something for everybody. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and attentive.

I love the chicken salad with fresh pineapple. We shared a salad trio, it was enough for us to split, @ $8.99, it was a deal. The egg salad & Spinach Salad with feta were typical.

Main Street Cafe is our favorite place to eat in downtown Garland. Tonight I had Chicken Fried Steak and my wife had Chicken Fried Chicken. Both were delicious. Mashed potatoes and another choice of vegetable round out the meal. The pimento cheese sandwich with a hint of jalapeno and pecans is very good with home made chips! Try them sometime!

They buns on the barbecue was burnt they had knats flying around your food while you were eating it was gross. But the service was good she offered to replace the bun but you should not put out burn products.

Burgers 🍔=Greatness. I've been meaning to give this place a shot but have always hesitated, man was I dumb for doing that. This place has some of the best burgers I've ever had and to top it all off, it was cheap! $20+tip. Give this place a shot, you won't regret it!

This perfect quaint little place is amazing! The service, the food, even the tables are all done right. Have the garlic truffle fries and the chicken Nathan. You will not be disappointed. We had no room for dessert, but they are all made from scratch in house.

My hubby loved his salad. The steak was a little over cooked but the meat in side was tender. The mashed potatoes were bland.

Went here once with family. Had good food and everyone got exactly what they had ordered. Would definitely go again!

Best down home southern food in Garland...

I've been eating here for years they always have great portions and it's a quiet atmosphere.Not loud and clamoring like some restaurants.

Excellent customer chicken poblano soup and spinach salad. Attentive service added even more.

From the front door to the last bite I feel at home and I can't wait to get back. The entire menu is well thought out and the execution is spot on. The truffle fries are amazing! Staff is very accommodating and friendly to boot.

Meatloaf is delicious. My daughter had the salmon salad which she loved and it is so beautifully plated.

The chicken fried steak was "cut it with your fork" tender and very flavorful. Mashed potatoes and fried okra were great as well.
